Major Theological Problems

There are quite a few theological problems with Christianity. This pulls on this article from Evil Bible.

Why are there other religions? Theoretically, God is the only god. Yet there are other religions that came before. Greek, Inca, Aztec, Maya, Egyptian, Japanese, Chinese... Christianity itself was started only about 2000 years ago whereas some of these go back at least another 3000 before Christianity.

Isn't he supposed to be all-loving and tolerant of all? Yet, throughout the bible, there are innumerable instances of rape, pillage, murder and masscre. Don't you dare go saying that "it didn't happen" or it was to "help the people see the error of their ways" or "it's because they're wrong".

Quote directly from the bible:

Numbers 31:7-18 NLT

They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

Apparently, Moses and Got approve of killing and raping virgins. How exactly is this an all-loving, all tolerant god? And if you say this isn't true, just go look it up yourself. Of course, the actual words will vary version to version, but it'll still be the same story.

Along with that is eternal damnation to hell. If he's supposed to love all, why does he condem all those that don't believe in him to burn in hell for the smallest infraction?

If he also created all of us in his own image, why does he allow us to love? Has he ever really love anybody? Hmm. I don't ever recall the bible saying anything about god being married. LE GASP! Marrige isn't as holy as everybody thought! Apparently, chastity is the only way to go! Way to kill the population you love so much, god!

Then there's the fact he's supposed to be perfect. Why did he create us? If something is perfect, it is complete, not needing anything else.
